Unpack for iPhone and iPad

Write to contacttouchstonetech@gmail.com. One person builds this app and the same person answers the mail, usually within two working days.

If you're reporting something broken, it helps to say which lesson you were on, what you expected, and what happened instead. Your iOS version and iPhone model, from Settings › General › About, narrow it down fast.

Subscriptions

Cancelling

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, and only Apple can cancel one. Open Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your device, tap Unpack, then Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or that period renews. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and we cannot issue, approve or refuse one. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account that made the purchase.

I paid, but the app still shows the paywall

Tap Restore purchases on the paywall. That asks Apple which subscriptions your Apple Account holds and unlocks accordingly. If it doesn't help, check you're signed into the same Apple Account that bought it — subscriptions belong to an Apple Account, not to a device. Still stuck: write to us with the date of purchase.

Your progress and your data

Moving to a new phone

Progress lives on the device unless you create the optional account. To carry it over, use Sign in with Apple under Settings › Your progress on the old phone, and sign in with the same Apple ID on the new one. Your subscription itself needs nothing — it follows the Apple Account.

Deleting your account

Settings › Delete my account, inside the app. Your email address and every stored progress record are erased immediately. What's on the device stays on the device until you delete the app. You can also ask us to do it by writing to the address above.

Turning off usage measurement

Settings › Help improve the lessons. Switching it off stops collection immediately and discards anything still waiting to be sent. The app works identically either way. Full detail on the privacy page.

Starting over

Settings › Reset progress clears XP, streak, review schedule and saved lessons without deleting the app.

Notifications

The daily fact is opt-in, from Profile › Fact of the day. Turning it on asks for permission and schedules the next two weeks. If you refused permission the first time, iOS won't ask again — re-enable it in Settings › Notifications › Unpack.

Requirements

iOS 17 or later, on iPhone or iPad.

A reminder about what this is

Everything in Unpack is educational. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. For decisions about your own money, talk to someone qualified who knows your situation.
